I now see this play all the time...everyone knows it...basically 1 WR runs across the formation into a wheel route - see diagram below

The huge issue is...for some reason, the CB whos manned up against this motion WR runs in slow motion like hes hungover and can never catch the motion WR

In real football, the CB manned up would sprint across the formation, easily catch the motion WR and man him up

But just in case he slipped or some reason...you also have the Deep Safety covering the deep out zone...at least you think you did...but you are wron

The deep safety will ignore this WR as if hes a ghost...

So basically you have to either user you CB or Safety to cover the motion WR...because EA sucks at programming

With your user out of the way, they have multiple other options...the RB on a quick slant, the TE cutting over the middle

 A SIMPLE SOLUTION..>FIX MAN COVERAGE IN MOTION so the DBs run across the field the same speed as motion WRs

Then I can keep my user on my Sub LB

Cover 4 bags this play and there this thing called switch stick this year so you don’t have to take your user away. This is now a very easy play to shut down and most guys who run it won’t know what to do once you take it  away

house rules not being on all madden is pretty dumb, definitely helps people not good at the game run cheese plays that other wise would be worth less on all madden

yea it’s a dumb play 1 the none qb player with zero throwing stats can throw better than a qb. Also the defense just dumbs out and won’t cover. just take the slot can or outside lb and rush right at the guy passing should work 98% of the time. house rules makes It work because of the skill level it’s on. Ea just wanted to say they added something new to the game. and help bums who don’t know football want to keep playing

cover 4 should work base alignmen set your zone drops deeper Will help too. but one way to help if you really want to man it up is cross man . Take your slot db from the other side and man him up to the motion wr. He will already be on that side and not need to run with him on the motion

I don't understand why people run so much man. It's easy to beat. If I run into something like that I adjust my outside drops and user it over the middle. People who run this excessively throw it anyways and I get a lot of picks. And on the outside it's often fo 6

All of this, plus that Cover 4 Quarters play everyone runs that apparently bags EVERYTHING I try to throw. Even quick, hot reads and stuff underneath. It just makes for a not fun gaming experience if everyone runs YouTube cheese.
