Man coverage vs Shotgun Trips TE Flex Mtn Y Post is RUINING THE GAME

Its become the biggest cheese of the year

I now see this play all the time...everyone knows it...basically 1 WR runs across the formation into a wheel route - see diagram below

The huge issue is...for some reason, the CB whos manned up against this motion WR runs in slow motion like hes hungover and can never catch the motion WR

In real football, the CB manned up would sprint across the formation, easily catch the motion WR and man him up

But just in case he slipped or some reason...you also have the Deep Safety covering the deep out zone...at least you think you did...but you are wron

The deep safety will ignore this WR as if hes a ghost...

So basically you have to either user you CB or Safety to cover the motion WR...because EA sucks at programming

With your user out of the way, they have multiple other options...the RB on a quick slant, the TE cutting over the middle

 A SIMPLE SOLUTION..>FIX MAN COVERAGE IN MOTION so the DBs run across the field the same speed as motion WRs

Then I can keep my user on my Sub LB

I’ve been getting hit with the double pass garbage every game. while switching to man deals with it, they can just use the same formation and pass regularly and man gets roasted. Game is coded so poorly. Why is double pass in the game!? If you can’t code it DON’T ADD IT

The double pass is also the WORST

I got smoked by it last night

The worst part is...the RBs can throw perfect dot bombs, when in reality, they should throw horrible inaccurate passes

RB OOP vick, threw a 60 yard bomb dot off his back foot as if hes a golden ticket with DOTS X factor

For some reason...my 99 Speed DBs cant keep up with streaks off double passes, I guess they break inward on the run and lose a few steps on the streaking RB

then idk what to say, I don't play it too much anymore. when I play it they don't use the motion, they slant the motion wr instead

I honestly think its a programming issue

EA will likely fix it with next years game, but theres always something they forget

Motion was not abused last year, so they probably didnt put too much effort into programming against motion

run zone lol

I just click to the DE on that side and cover it from the jump. gotten lurks with brian burns and peppers and jpp so far doing this haha. that usually prevents them from running it again.
