You're not alone. Zones still play terribly.

Shading up only works in man coverage...

The only shading that works in zone is underneath and it only changes the bottom two routes to flats

Someone just schooled me this weekend how shading UP will cause DBs to sort of stutter. I had no idea I was doing this to myself. It's worse than "doesn't work" it seems to actively make things worse. Uggh. Thanks for great insight. 

I figured out turning Hard Flats into Cloud was bad, but had no idea it could bork shit elsewhere.

What is the awareness of your DB's? It seems like that is one of their tricks to keep us chasing after better players. It seemed like they have slightly nerfed awareness, then crank up something within the game that exploits their stupidity.
