Outside Corner Flat Zone question??

Played a game recently where my opponents AI cornerback carried my flanker about ten yards and hawked my flat throw as soon as I hit the button for an easy pick six.

I looked at the clip several times and he broke the instant I hit the button.

How in the F do you get that type of play out of your flat zone? I literally had my flat zone standing flat footed in position not make a play on the ball or receiver the next game when they threw right at him??

Ive tried flat zone KO before and didn’t notice that type of play from my corners. Is it a cloud flat or yardage setting?

that other route might have left their zone and then they went to the next person in their zone, if its not that then idek lol

The hard flats used to play like that back in the day. You couldn’t just blindly throw into flat zones or it would be a pick six.

It may have just been a coincidence; I've spent a lot of time in practice mode and the CB will run with WR for 10-15 yards before handing him off to the Deep Safety.
