Krause is great so I guess I'm going with Maye, won't need to upgrade either position for quite a long time

I think BTJ is the one most will choose since he's 98 speed and 6'3" and more versatile on defense (can play up top, be a user, play corner), but the Drake Maye stats and having Baker's release is so damn tempting to me.
What's everyone else's thoughts?
I need safteys so definitely brian thomas jr i have a decent enough quarter back and i am waiting for the combine bo nix card for theme team

Thanks bud. i Like your name

if you watch the stream on the 3rd you get a pack with a choice of all of them if you missed one.
I missed derwin back in september so im gonna get him and evans to complete the set
BTJ, easy decision personally since I run Hurts on a full Eagles theme team.
NickyRozay said:If that's the only one you're missing you should be good. If you watch the stream on the 3rd you'll get a fantasy pack that let's you choose any 1 of the 6 MCS cards so you could grab Simmons there
Ohhhh I missed that one, thanks fam
Was thinking of going maye but now that Vick card coming out hes going be qb 1 for the rest of the year for me. might just go the safety now

It's THE best QB in the entire game, with end-game ability stack, which just happens to be the most important position in all of sports. No DB is going to improve or impact your squad as much as an elite QB.
It's your team, choose whoever tickles your fancy, but I believe your logic may be a bit flawed, or at the very least, short-sighted. Think and look forwards, not backwards. DBs will get better. We're basically at peak endgame for QB play. As long as stats remain capped at 99.
Or perhaps I'm missing something entirely, I'm genuinely interested in spending the next week flushing out this topic with the community. Both are fantastic cards, clearly best in their respective positions.
Great idea I can pretend it’s Eli then again I have been using pink Tom Brady and my bias wore off pretty quick after I threw a few absolute dots.

Amen, brother! I had some fairly rigid constraints for my 49ers theme team for a while... until I needed an Angry Runs running back, in prior times. Eventually i broke my "No-Cowgrrls" rule and was forced to take a BND Emmitt Smith, i think during M24 cycle.
ANYHOO, sometimes we've gotta make these tough business decisions. We're virtual GMs / head coaches, etc. -- or we can be pure fanbois and as a result, end up less competitive. Different strokes for different folks, i guess.
I'm trying to win games, not take a moral and principled stand. But there's no wrong way to build an Ultimate Team... i mean, technically, there are tons of ways to lose games, but this is just one small part. I'm still mulling the decision over in my head, trying to envision how wild, crazy and arcade-y EA can make this game in the coming months. Some how they managed to push the meta forward in liek June of last year.
