I don't understand the rules to scrambling?
I see some players able to run and stand forever
when I try to run it says "past the LOS" or "held the ball too long"

You cannot run unless the defense crosses the line of scrimmage. You only get a small amt of time before you have to cross the line either with a throw or run.
It's the superstar 3 v3 rules, super fun mode btw

Once the opponent crosses the line of scrimmage, you have all day to throw.
If the opponent is in man coverage and an assignment remains behind the line of scrimmage, the defender will often cross the line of scrimmage. Since man coverage is a primary counter to the double-pass for touchdowns, man coverage becomes more prevalent near the end zone. Therefore offensive users will be more prone to scrambling their quarterbacks.
Tofu no Shiitake is a messy, badly coded mode with altered sliders that make for a potential frustrating and often inconsistent experience. You win or lose more on random chance with sticky or worthless coverage and great or awful passes.
Final tips: You need Hot Route Master or Backyard QB on offense, and on defense you need Lurk Artist or Pick Artist on everyone. Choose Flat-, Mid-, and Deep-Zone KO's according to your scheme. There's lots of space on the field, so use the full countdown when you can. Take shots on first-and-shorts. It can be easier to convert for two points than one point, while a good defender will usually consistently shut down three-point attempts. On your lineup, don't waste AP on players that won't be on the field. The [x]-tackles made X-Factors can also be effective.

I actually had a blast last summer/fall playing this with my kid. Tried a bunch of different character builds and such, but ultimately i figured out if you get stuck with a terrible QB, the games are brutal. So i rolled a tall QB and my kid is a speedy receiver. Definitely loads of fun to be had there, was quick and easy to hop in and out of games in that Superstar mode, no long delays, no tedious glitch-filled games, just fast and furious (and fun).

These are REALLY good tips, thanks. I couldn't be bothered to redo my team or ability setup for 6v6, but now that you point it out, makes a TON of sense. For a while i wasn't even certain abilities worked in that game mode. My 99 SPD dudes were getting hauled down from behind by significantly slower players.

I always play rb, learned how to pass out of that position and now I'm the default qb usually lol. It is fun, play every Friday with my buddy for a few hours, best mode in the game imo

I have been dabbling with Squads play with our little trio. Took me a couple/few years to settle in with a small group of guys, but now that i've found my way there, it's been difficult to remain engaged with any other game modes. Ranked is absolutely miserable, i don't think i even finished my 5 Placement games this cycle. Not in the market for a Slot Cornerback that requires 2AP for MZKO + Pick Artist, bleh.
I never fully understood the best way to build my character in Superstar mode, can you recommend any specific build types? Are you playing default QB as a "RB" -- without specific pass throwing abilities? It's been a couple/few months since i tinkered with it, but i dropped five (or fifteen) bucks to get my guy all decked out with 49ers uniform, i'd love to finish leveling that character someday.

I built a 6 ffoot 1 cb, heavy on zone defense, and eventually at level 50 I was able to get arm talent ability, I can throw piss missles now lol. I'll check him out when I get home and tell you more specifically how I did him. Cb is the most versatile position imo, and figures the first year a true rb build is OP, I build a cb. Would highly suggest to do the combine stuff, you get boosts that carry over, like speed and stuff. I'll take a look though when I get home and shoot you a DM with all my stuff

Thanks for the tips .. Much appreciated..
I just played 2 games where my defenders didn't cross the LOS and still the QB was able to scramble . weird.

I think i'm maybe uhhh level 25-30(ish), but sort of hopped around while i was testing and figuring out Superstar. I also started a Cornerback, figuring if i could play defense and was tall and fast, the other stuff would be a no brainer -- until i saw kids doing liek Judkins (CFB) style spin moves, essentially impossible for any single defender to bring down solo. I started to question all of my life choices at that point, heh.
Nowhere near max level, barely understand how to build characters, but i think i'm liek 6'3" or 6'4" whatever allowed me to retain decent speed. Appreciate any experience, suggestions or pro-tips you might be able to share. I'm fairly certain i did the Combine trials, took me a few attempts to figure out some, or many/most of those to place higher than merely simulating through.
