If you produce nothing you consume nothing. Leaving you with a cleaner binder, better leveraged as market trends evolve and not holding the bag when EA inevitably tries to tank the value of high end cards as the year progresses.
Is there anything more American than being a middle man?

Agree 100%
You realize calling yourself "NMS" means nothing
Ive seen online players with NMS as their username...yet they have Reggie White, Emmitt Smith, McCourty
So if they're really NMS, then they're plying the game 23 hours a day to grind coins
CodyWolfgang said:The funny thing is the NMS people waste hours upon hours to earn ”free” cards. You could just work for a few hours and have better players. I don’t really agree with that side of it. People are still donating their time to EA, which is arguably worse.
Time doesn't contribute to EA's bottom line for shareholder value. If you don't see the correlation between the sharp and steady decline of MUT over the past few years and the money spent by whales to keep EA's profits afloat, I can't help the blind man see. People who spend egregious amounts of money on live content directly and indisputably are the cause and reason that MUT is in a death spiral.

People like you also have a very high sense of self importance. All of you are the same and think you have the right to act self righteous and judge other people.
Just to be clear, you indisputably and undeniably don’t matter. Nothing you do or will ever do matters.
To argue that live content is a problem is not accurate. I would take the current state of MUT over picking up my dusty PS2 disc in May to play a meaningless game of Madden with outdated rosters.

It's not judging other people to accurately describe the cause and effect whales have had on MUT. Look at what happened to Madden Mobile, what I'm saying isn't some controversial take. Per EA's filings with the SEC, "live content" is 80% of EA's profit on their games. If this is your first year playing MUT, I can understand how this can all be very confusing and troubling to you. For people that have played it for the last decade, it's beyond arguable that it's progressively worse. A 13 step $800 offer is truly the sign of end times, but whales are actually buying it!
I'm not sure what position you hold in life to assign value to others, but I assure you that everyone matters. Even people like you. hard to believe, but it's true.
You are correct in a way, "live content" on it's own isn't the problem. It's the commodification of live content at the expense of actual meaningful development, features, and "free for all" content that is the issue. When this game finally hits it's death knell in the very near future, you and whales that have spent money on live services will have nobody to blame but themselves.

It occurs to me to concur with you. When I see an $800 step up offer I officially demote myself from whale to chubby fish.
Jokes and judgements aside the consequences are real and potentially impactful to many.
Spending more time on this game is still good for EA, it will promote other players' desire to spend. I didn't spend a penny because it was too expensive for me in my country.
But I agree that this year's NMS is much harder than before. I had a lot of success and 70% win rate in Madden23, and coins making are easier.
I gave up mut in October and started playing regs. Felt the gameplay is way better. No more tryhard and toxic scheme.
