Anyone still playing man?

It was good for a while with the (2) Bottleneck Super bowl corners

But the slot DBs get absolutely torched by slot WRs using zig route or crossers

Then you have bunch where the Man DBs could run into each other, leaving a WR wide open for a deep TD

Lastly, you have DBs not responding to motion, so basically you waste your user having to cover the motion WR, leaving the middle of the field wide open for crossers.

I love man, but I think i have to go back to zone.... Can only play man on cover 0 all out blitzes

I only play man in Tofu no Shiitake. Zone just gets carved up.

I tried double mug with Watson and Herb on the outside with Bottleneck/Bench press. Deion with UC at slot. User press the TE. When they motioned, I would just quickly zone out that side. It was pretty fun and you could literally put the controller down most times. Running man costs too much AP compared to running zone IMO. I'll go back and try it out again once they add more discounts to abilities.

I do fine against crossers but zigs and drags are way too overpowered. basically have to hope your faster better statted corner FINALLY does his job or just let your opponent dink and dunk until they make a mistake.

Not as much as I used to, had the plus 3 press strat which helped a ton for awhile, just seems more feasible at this point running mostly zone defense and mixing in man here and there. Mut seems to flip flop yearly on defense, have a feeling next year will be a more man focused defense

After some analysis, I feel you cant plan man unless you are running a heavy blitz

I was doing ok with a 3-4 man front, no blitzers back when I had Superbowl X Factors unstoppable force, but now with DoN, i dont get enough pressure, giving time for players to run zig routes/man blitzers

Was using dollar with 4 DBs in Man...2 safeties in zone, then the user to cover the RB, but i got no pressure and would a WR would eventually get open or even worse gave up a big QB run

So im gonna now try either try mid zone blitz, usering one the mid blitzers, to send 5

Or 3-3 cub, blitzing 5

I will see how that works with man...but if neither of them work...its unfortuantely back to Zone with a bunch of Mid Zone Kos
