On Xbox I’m saving my rewards points to buy madden points to spend on some store offer or a field pass. Getting these points is completely free but I still wanna know is this considered no money spent?

I’m sure there are plenty of players out there spending cash that identify as NMS anyways.
Work the Auction House well, and you can have a better team than the cash players. NMS can cheat in-game about as effectively as the big spenders can. I’m not sure it really matters.
The only thing I hate in principle is the access spenders have to certain exclusive bonus items. Last year you could get at least one additional Light It Up Token, a valuable advantage deep into the final months of MUT.
