Who are the best players to take since they get all chems for a theme team? I was thinking Devin Hester for 99 speed and maybe Paul Krause.
They are all pretty insane tbh, great discounts, great stats, everyone gets chems, can't go wrong with either, just get what you want man
Are we too "excited" for these players? I assume they can only be updated to 95 or 96ovr at first and they will only get one discounted ability? They will be good at end of the season with 98ovr and two discounted buckets but only decent for next 1,5 months.
I think only go for Shields at this point and then look others later. Krause will be my 2nd option. I assume others won't see field at my line-up ever.
Early on will shields will be best. When they get to 98 the skill players will be viable.
If emmit has motivator buckets like his ltd then he will be. without motivator buckets he's junk

Who cares? For some people, these cards will be close to end game. Some people don't need the top cards at every position to win games.

No need to be aggressive. ;) For me 50% of the game is to try to get the best TT on the field. I just raised honest question with concerns that we are carried away with 98ovr stats and abilities but honestly EA won't gives us 5 98ovr cards until they are slightly outdated. If I'm not wrong there will be crazy cards with abilities / x-factors before season 6 ends.

I'm not aggressive but free cards are free cards. Of course they won't be amazing but they fill positions and the difference is not that big. We always get cards with better abilities, promo cards, etc but the Season players are still decent.
im just glad they get all 32 team chems!
The game kinda runs on ability set ups and i don’t think these cards actually have the best stacks.
They’re gonna be good TT fillers but i don’t think many of them are end game or cracked.
My ranking is probably:
1. Will Shields - best AP combos, all day and nasty streak for 0AP is pretty close to end game OL and no real need to upgrade from him
2. Devin Hester - 99 speed on any 20/20 TT and has human joystick and grab n go for 0AP, 3 WR’s on the field, can easily fit him in. Again, you could easily rock him until madden 26
3. Emmit Smith - 98 speed on any 20/20 TT and decent 0AP’s, can be HB1 or a 0AP HB2 for downs your starting HB is tired
4. Paul Krause - although i think he’ll probably play the best of all the cards and the player i’ll pick first, his stack is pretty mid and we have better stacks out there already at safety. PA & MZKO for 1AP isn’t anything we haven’t seen and we will definitely get better by the time he’s achievable
5. Luke Kiechly - again, not a great stack. no discounted lurk artist so youd spend 2AP on LA & MZKO and he’s 96 speed. We are gonna get much better linebackers statistically and ability wise

Totally agree! These cards are good. I'm just afraid what EA will come up. They don't want us to use these. :) Looks too good for now. I'm just sceptic.
Nope. Go bother someone else.

I'll agree here except for emmit as there have been so many good HB's recently that his abilities aren't that special, the big thing for me is that paul krause is bigger than your average free saftey and has better hit power. but I agree for sure with Shields, even adding he gets discounted linchpin for the running game. and luke just isn't the guy sadly due to his stats not being much better than guys like ray nitscke and others
