Johnny Wilson was the Final Straw

Sold my team off last night/this morning.  The Johnny Wilson debacle was nail in the coffin for me.  I quit MUT about 4 years ago and came back this year to try it out.  I knew what EA/MUT was all about and had very, very low expectations.  In miraculous fashion, EA somehow found a way to show me that I truly didn't know how evil they are.  Between the ranked game mode (changing the requirements monthly with no communication), $500 packs, Team Diamonds $ grab, missing content, horrendous gameplay and then this (there's way more, but you get the point).  

 Only reason I'm making a post is hopefully some follow suit.  I imagine these business practices will have little effect on most of the community, but hoping one day we can band together and give EA the middle finger.

I already decided I'm probably not getting the next Madden. I still play 25 purely because I already own it. I'm playing other games a lot more though. At least the gameplay is somewhat decent in CUT. MUT doesn't even have that anymore.

If EA just would have communicated.  A heads-up that these weren't in the champions packs, or a "whoops, we screwed up," or....anything!  Right now it looks as though they intentionally did the bait and switch OR they screwed up and rather than own it they just changed the rules.  Either option is absolutely unacceptable when $ is involved.

They are actually right with the Ranked change. Nobody should get top 100 rewards if they aren't in the top 100. The people who did get them with 3200 points weren't supposed to get them.

I 100% agree with you.  

The problem is these were never the "rules" from the start.  EA changed the rules every...single...month with NO communication.  Again, I wouldn't be upset at all if they just would have said something prior to the month ending.  I spent 3 months in a row playing by the previous month's rules only to discover those rules were no longer valid AFTER the month had ended.  

I was banned on the MUT sub-reddit after 11 years for simply posting this question/topic.  The mods over there are tied very closely to EA so obviously they were under orders to not even allow this topic to be discussed.
