So I really f'ed up and chose both defensive legendary strategy items. Wasn't thinking and I obviously really regret it. I just want to make sure I am not missing something - but am I correct to say I am SOL and there is no way to exchange one? Anyone also dumb and do this too?

I chose both of the defensive strats. The two choices for offense are pointless. You didn’t mess up, trust me.

Legendary strats will come so no worries.   Just keep what you have and swap them as you see fit until then.
