These pass plays are straight garbage. The defensive playbook is far worse.
Reason: The other half
I went 25-2 to get the token and done. Here's what I did.
Offense
Run the play with 4 streaks on the left and the right receiver is on a drag as default
They'll either be in a defense where that far right receiver is alone and you hot route him to a streak , quick snap and pass.
Or they'll be in zone or man, I usually drag the farthest left receiver so two drags to read and post someone.
Pass to the open guy
Defense
For defense , I like cover 2 deep match, it's cover 4 with two hooks in the middle. User one of the hooks underneath , never rush the qb so you have 6 in coverage vs 5 routes...ez mode.
If they keep hitting under, you can run normal cover 2 or a cover 3 with spy and user the spy.
Pretty much the whole gameplan there above for that mode
Always go for 3.
And if you have the lead and get the ball last, just run out of bounds 4 times in a row and you'll win.
No reason to risk an int.

Pretty much what I'm doing. Getting a feel for which defensive plays don't cover well. And I used exactly the play you mentioned on offense. However, I did go against a guy with Film Study. Of course, he really had set his abilities specifically for this mode. I haven't bothered to do that.
I've won more than I've lost. Although I thought for sure I had won more than 11.

Made the mistake of throwing a pick six at the end of one of my games while I was up. So definitely just run out of bounds.

This helped a lot thanks. Question for abilities and x factors work in this game mode? Would it be worth it to load up all of them on your 6 players?

Thanks for sharing your experience -- i hate that this half-baked game mode is part of the Field Pass, oh well. I want to play actual football and i want to use my real team that i've poured so damn much time, money/resources into building. Anyway, my own issues aside, this is extremely helpful.
I've played a handful of games, the ones i won were a result of playing basic defense, getting a stop and then watching the opponent immediately rage quit. There's potential here, but as per usual, EA mucks up anything and everything they touched. I might try to tinker with this more now that you've blessed us with some basic strategy. Although, i'm not sure anything will help prevent dudes from bombing deep into double coverage and Agg-catching their way to glory. I thought I had decently elite DBs and such, doesn't seem to matter much in 6 on 6... even decked out with abilities, liek Universal Coverage, etc.

Abilities do work, kos are very important

All my DBs have Mid Zone KO plus Pick Artist and maybe Tip Drill (except Deion, who has 3AP Universal Coverage).
Tofu no Shiitake? 🤣🤣🤣
I just learned (I'm embarrassed to say after how many games) , that the QB can run the ball only after someone from the opposing team crosses the line of scrimmage. I'm a slooow learner, because I was wondering how opposing QB's would take off on me especially QB's like RG3 and Lamar. So if you are playing QB's like them, never blitz or you will pay dearly.
I have never played 6V6, but I must say that it is a lot of sun.
Just got my 50 wins (not worth the grind btw) and heres what I did:
On Offense:
Spread cross - nice double pass play when you throw to triangle/Y. If no one is open, you can run with the WR. If your opponent is in man, the R1/RB route fries man.
Spread Smash Slants - The tight end fries man on the corner route and sometimes ends up open versus zone. Drag the WR on the right for a check down.
Spread DBL Smash - cheese play. Slant your WR on the left. If its zone, throw the smokescreen to the right. The defense glitches out and still plays their zone even if you run out with the WR. The slant on the left fries man.
I always go for 1 and call Trips RZ fork. The zig on the right always gets open, but if they user that side, then drag the WR on the left. The TE gets open here too.
Defense: Just pray.
Thanks, everyone. I got my Elevation Pass at 25. No mo' Tofu for me.
My reward for this is to grind out my last two Iconoclash Solos for the week.
Maybe later this week I'll get something that makes either of these grinds worth it.
