I'm honestly not a fan of those things; I don't think they should have a place in Competition mode; doesn't all this sound Arcadish?

They are even in Sim mode; isn't that crazy? Abilities and X-Factors in Sim mode...

I’m not a fan of them either, and yes to both your questions too

We should get another Genki Force, then Combine, Team of the Year, Free Agency, Easter, Draft, Rookie Premiere, and Golden Tickets. I think those are most of the big ones but EA will throw in some random ones throughout the next few months to keep people spending.

We're officially in MUT Season now, which just means the game is about to get as arcade-y as ever.  X-factors as passive abilities (we're already seeing these) to the point where only players that get multiple, relevant X-factors will see the field.  Kids incorrectly assume that once the cards all max at 99 OVR, that the playing field will somehow even itself out.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

Although, with all the AP on both sides of the ball, there's no reason we can't run a lot of everything.  I've already got Zone KOs everywhere on the field, dual Unstoppable Force X-factors on both edge rushers and speed for days.  It's all downhill from here.

But to directly answer your question, the highlights of the year are typically:

1. MUTmas
2. Superbowl
3. Combine

Ultimate Legends could be interesting, surely we'll see Free Agency promo before long, but the silly stuff liek Gencki Force is more in line with what we'll be seeing.  The actual in-game content will probably be light moving forward, expect more recycled content and promos.  EA isn't going to knock our socks off with creativity.  Not now, not ever.

I see that EA liked these "Step" offers.

And the offers always look something like this; For 12,000 you get a 96+ or a 70+, a ton of worthless cards, and a frown on your face for thinking you would get anything in return.

Why don't they reverse it, when I hit confirm payment, they either get the $100 or a Coupon for 50% off the McGriddles.

Usually the last things they churn out are Rookie Premiere, Golden Tickets, Fan Appreciation, and Ultimate Legends which will probably keep releasing until late June to early July.
