Is there no way to turn off certain baked on abilities

With these super bowl cards? For example my larry little I guess had zero ap all day which expired today.  One of the main reasons I got this card was for his 1 ap onniscient (which is already steep for me, i dont usually use AP on OL) 

Thing is his previously 0 ap all day is now 1 ap and it doesnt seem to be letting me into the bucket to turn it off. I would NEVER use ap on something like all day. This effectively would render this card useless to me (other than just deactivating him I guess but then id lose the omniscient I got his undersized ass for lol) 

Am I missing something or did they really do us even dirtier than usual with these "free" bnd cards in this promo?

Edit: id also be losing his 0 ap natural talent by outright deactivating him.

I ended up swapping all my tokens back to big Trent Williams, he's the only other card in the entire game that gets 1AP Omniscient. It's too good to give up, couldn't get rid of that stupid baked on All-Day for Larry Little. Not possible to remove it. 

That drove me bonkers earlier this evening.
