I made a post a few weeks ago showing a tackle animation that shouldn’t have happened and some of you saw I was running the dime 3-2 loop blitz that some people consider a glitchy play and got me wondering
But what exactly is the difference between a glitchy play vs a really good play?
it’s all opinion base, but I think a good play is a play where your offense/defense need to adjust to it, but it’s easy to stop if your a good player
for instance, earlier in the year mid blitz “glitchy” I believe its just a good play because it’s a 6v5 pass rush so naturally the defense should have someone come in, if you block the RB and/or TE it stops the blitz completely and you can dot your opponent up with good man beating routes
On the other hand, double pass, I think it’s a glitchy play. in zone, no matter if you shade over top, guess pass, whatever, your deep safeties and corners come down to play the run, leaving a free touch down every time, and you manually have to blitz yourself to stop it
Now for the defense I was running, if you say it was glitchy, or good play, I understand. I think it’s a little bit of both
If your someone who’s not good at the game, the blitz comes in pretty easy 80% of the plays and it’s a 4v5 so you shouldn’t have him coming in. On the other hand, if your someone who’s better then others, you just ID the blitzer or call play action that completely gets rid of the blitz
I wanna know your thoughts on the difference
