These feel like the most obvious items to invest in. Especially the blue ones.

After seeing that I did my own digging on here and confirmed it.
Every player has a bunch of attributes that don’t change as the player gets new cards/upgrades. If you compare the 4 mystery players to the 4 “Suspected Mystery Players” there are around 30 attributes that are identical. Feel free to look for yourself, here’s one example;
Tom Brady
Compare with Joe Montana. Looks similar. Not sure if ratings are Brady specific or some sort of base they use for a certain archetype. I seriously doubt they individualize ratings.

It’s not just Brady, you can use the compare tool on the other 3 as well. The results are the same, about 30 ratings that match.
Yeah they really do individualize ratings for each player. Select any player that has multiple cards and use the compare tool. You will see around 30 attributes that are the exact same number on their lowest and highest card.

Mutlinks has been mostly on the money since they started so I wouldn't doubt what they said....I don't think reviewing or comparing anything can confirm for us. I pulled 6 of these and bought 4 more , really more out of curiousity than anything. I pulled 3 blues, 2 green and a pink so I bought all the blues.

Right, you’re kinda making my point. Which isn’t that mutleaks is wrong, just that the matching stats aren’t proof that they’re right. A lot of guys have a lot of ratings that match. Also important to note, “usually on the money” is different than 100% correct.
As someone who was in charge of spec cataloging on a much smaller scale, it seems very, very unlikely that there was thought put into each individual rating for every single player. The labor vs the payoff aren’t nearly equal enough to justify it.

Yeah I’ve got 10 in the binder now as well, should be fun when they update on Tuesday.
The point is when comparing these mystery players to the players that Mutleaks expects them to be you have around 30 ratings that are exactly the same. If you compare the mystery players to other any players at the same position there are less than 15 ratings that match.
That is not a coincidence to me.

I’m making the exact opposite point. The 4 mystery players have close to 30 matching ratings with the 4 players they are suspected to be. If you compare the mystery players with any other players at the same position there are less than 15 matching ratings.
I agree that it’s unlikely for EA to put a lot of thought into all of the “useless” ratings on each card. However, when a player gets their first card in MUT they have player specific ratings. Player specific ratings are ratings that don’t change as the player gets new cards. You can look at an 80 OVR and 95 OVR of the same player and there will be close to 30 ratings that match. Most of these player specific ratings are ratings that don’t really apply to player’s position but they are still given their own rating that is different from other players at the same position. There are also typically a few ratings that are left at the minimum rating (10), these have a much higher chance of being the same rating as other players.
Yes, you will find a few players at the same position with a few matching player specific ratings (especially minimum ratings) but you won’t find two different players with all of their player specific ratings exactly the same. At least I haven’t anyways, I guess I haven’t checked every single player.

True
When are these transferring into 95’s?
QB - Favre
CB - Malcolm Butler
LB - Von Miller
HB - John Riggins or Marcus Allen

it's either planned for 1:30 or it's delayed, and knowing EA, both are equally possible
