PS Network Down!! Wtf

Crazy thing is i still on madden got my mcs  cards also now I scared to switch  aaccounts.

Well I was just playing a solo battle then it suddenly gave me a suspended license message. Luckily I was able to finish before it locked me out but yeah something obviously going on with PSN right now.

Sony finally updated their network status, it's all red, across the board as of ~9PM Friday evening (a touch before, but been this way for at least an hour or two, probably/possibly longer): https://status.playstation.com/

If you are currently logged in and have an ACTIVE session with Playstation Network, i would advise you to not disconnect or log off until further notice... chances are, you won't be able to reconnect or access any digital games until PSN has been restored.  No ETA, this could be a while.  They basically cancelled the MCS Finals.

Odd showed this way for me since 8pm, was the first place I checked when the said PSN was down.

When i first started checking, maybe around 6-7PM Eastern it was all green... so i thought it was me and began running around the house unplugging ethernet cables, rebooting network switches and DNS servers, restarted my PS5 Pro, bleh.  Would have saved me a ton of headaches if Sony could have updated their status in real-time... especially since folks have been suggesting this was happening quite a lot on Friday, starting in early morning.  I didn't have any issues this afternoon, but things are clearly broken.

I'm not sure Sony even knows what the actual problem is, let alone able to provide us with any type of ETA for having this resolved.  Are they going to credit our PSN accounts with some prorated bonus for not being able to play all night/weekend if this persists?

Sony won't give us anything.  I was out for 23 days back in 2011, and it took a class action lawsuit to get anything for it.

2 hrs ago it all turned red. I kept refreshing that paige. Lol

Same here. Im at my gf's house, shes at work so I brought my ps5 over to play until she gets home. 

At the time the playstation network status said it was all good, but mine was down...so I figured it could be something with her network. I was resetting the router, testing connections, checking her router settings, the whole shibang. No luck, so I asked my buddies if theirs were down and then I went on reddit and saw it was down. 

I was about to text my girl her internet is trash lol

But yeah, this is ridiculous. I just heard about the 2011 thing, i must have been on xbox at the time. Thats crazy. They need to fix this nonsense.
