Last year I noticed a difference but SFL seems less powerful this year....wondering if we really need it ...I can see GS on a QB with a relatively slow release....what do you guys think?
GS and GW are the only essential abilities you need on your qb, and if you like to make a lot of change's at the line of scrimmage then conductor is valuable as well. Other then that, allocate the AP elsewhere as it is easy AF to throw the ball this year.
Gunslinger and SFL are not good this year. I'm using the AP in other places since they nerfed the good shit.

I still think GS is good unless you have one of the top 2 or 3 QB releases in the game. But I agree, neither are as powerful as last year

How much do velocity abilities matter in M25? Some, but certainly not as much as in prior years. During M24 I would have suggested that SFL/PLE were basically mandatory, otherwise we could never fit balls into those tight windows required to avoid the guaranteed KOs. This year, i notice that Throw Power seems to matter a whole heck of a lot more than in prior years (although that might be just in my head). Getting both Josh Allen and now Steve Young to max 99 THP was lovely.
Perhaps if we get a bunch more AP on offense, it'll make sense, but only because there are so few offensive abilities in M25 that are worth spending ability points on. I wouldn't give up my 2AP Tank for velocity ability, but basically anything and everything else i could care less about...
my quad/god stack for M25 would be along the lines of, in order of importance from most to least -- although there's potentially some wiggle room in the middle, the Comp guys would almost certainly suggest that Master Tact is the most important or impactful ability, i just haven't gotten to the point where i'm reliably utilizing the QB Playmaker portion of Master Tactician, YMMV:
- Gunslinger
- Gift-Wrapped
- Master Tactician
- _______ (SFL/PLE) ??

Yeah i agree. GS has been bad for me and cost me lots of games this year with the overthrows. Right now i'm using the upgradeable Stafford and he has been decent without GS.

I'm not sure if GW is important at this point in the year. Plenty of guys would drop diving catches earlier but I haven't used GW in a while and it's pretty rare to see drops that GW would prevent.
I'm really liking GS/SFL/Backyard QB for 7 AP on Steve Young right now
GS/SFL/PLE are still absolutely elite, dont let anyone else tell you otherwise. Theres a reason most pro and top tier players want velo chems banned

so far I have found that my players will drop the ball at worst possible time, GW prevents that for the most part. You are right though as we are nearing the point of the year where it is not essentia. IMO I would say that is typically during sugar rush, but this year may be different
