It upgrades Roster Revolution champions with an otherwise locked deeply-discounted ability. I used mine on Gilmore for 1 AP Mid-Zone KO.

and some cards require two medals and of COURSE you can only get one for free, the other one is part of a ridiculously expensive step up offer in the store for points. gross
