What is the best version for HB Marcus Allen. If it stays Marcus Allen?

The mystery cards are obtainable from packs, especially from packs that specifically have SB players. For example, you can get them from the training re-roll. The pull rate seems to be very low. The best way to get them is buying from the AH right now. They were selling for under 300k last week but have crept up in price in the last few days. They will all convert to 95s next week with 4 variants per position. I believe that Brady, Allen, Miller and Law will be the actual players. How valuable they will be depends on the ability discounts and whether the one with the unstoppable X-factor really will stay lit for entire games. I have been buying these up when the price is 320k or less for the pink and green ones or 700k or less for the x3 chem. I have been buying the blue QBs for under 550k.  I will keep one orange card per position until the end of MUT to be able to build hybrid TTs. How are you building a bank to do this? I started playing after Christmas and got my team up to 94, but building my bank feels impossible.

I started on the day the game dropped in August. I spend some money on offers (especially good platinum offers) but also spend a good amount of time working the AH. I actually enjoy working the AH and building teams more than playing the game, so it is a bit of a hobby. I snipe cards on days that promos are released and sell them later in the week when prices rise. For example, I bought a twelve AKA Icon Joe Alt and Maxx Crosby cards on Monday night/Tuesday at around 280k per card. They are now selling for 350k or so on average and will be over 400k by the weekend, because AKA Icon supply will be low, 92s will rise in price due to SB sets, and training price will rise due to SB re-rolls to get Saquon, Cooper, Mahomes, and Jones. I will then sell them and make nearly 100k profit per card (over 1 million cumulative). The more you play MUT, the easier it is knowing how to make coins. I have been playing MUT nearly continuously since 2013, so a lot of learning happens.

Any of the Marcus Allen cards can be very good. All the ones that get Chiefs chem (orange, blue and pink) will get the Chiefs SB boosts from the DHop motivator card, SB strategy item, and unis/stadium/coach/play books plus will have discounted abilities. The same goes for Ty Law. The green one will not get the Chiefs boosts, as it will not have a team chem, but it may have a pre-lit unstoppable x-factor like freight train.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve never worked AH but it makes a lot of sense.

Heavily agree. Miller is especially great for my buffalo TT, so I got his unstoppable X for only 325k. Snipe

There’s no way to know yet. It all depends on what ability discounts each card gets.

Went to check on the price of one of these cards and there was a x3 chem QB sitting there for 250 coin. Snipe! Sold it for profit, risking it on the pink QB, hopefully the ability stack is on point.

It depends on whether you run a TT or not. Pink is a waste, don’t know why anyone would spend a lot of AP on a RB. I pulled one of these and it’s not even worth selling at this point, hoping I can use it to update my welcome pack player when becomes a 95. Green also seems to be a waste, again I don’t use an XP on a RB. Blue could be good if you don’t run a TT. Orange is probably best if you run a 40/40 TT. I’m going orange just for the fun of it. Hoping the base card is juiced and I can get to 99 speed and 97+ acc. Also hoping they don’t do him dirty on truck the way they did with Cook.

Congrats! That’s some Crazy luck! I ended up getting a pink Mystery Rusher for 3101 coins. No where near the value of the X3 chems so I’m just going to hold it until the release.
