How do you stop this? God it’s programmed so poorly, it was cute in september but now these OOP cards can throw 60 yards. Either patch it or remove it ffs

I mean its pretty easy to stop. Just takes a little bit of awareness to always look out in what formation ur opponent is coming out in. There is no playbook where the double pass is in more than one formation so they cant switch it up
I have deep out kos and it still doesn't register. Many times dudes will struggle so badly to score they'll run a glitch play like this multiple times in a row, it's hilarious. Type of ish you just gotta be patient with and play thru

Ok well I only run zone so that would explain it. As far as formations are concerned its annoying because he can just audible to it from a meta formation and if I run man I get cooked lol

I stopped running match entirely because I think it’s broken this year and I find whenever I do someone is wide tf open. Normally I can user the streaking WR on the right side of the field but since the throwing stats are so crazy he can hit the other wide open guys, it’s just frustrating I can deal with most of the cheese it is what it is but this play just pisses me off because it’s clearly designed so poorly. Appreciate the advice tho
I definitely consider it a glitch, it completely dumbs out the entire defense and gives up a free TD every time if you don‘t anticipate it.
To defend it in zone coverage I make sure my slot corner is on that side and send him on a blitz to generate pressure on the passer. User either SubLb and run deep to that side. The user input running deep normally makes the safety on that side go deep and pickup the WR. To be successful you pretty much have to start running deep right after the snap, if you hesitate the safety is already beat and struggles to catch up.

user rush the WR that throws it, works that way for me. played a dude in my Superbowl and he only got it off once before half, he prob ran it over a half dozen times

ideal situation:
if you run it once it should work but after 3 times ur players should "understand" its a trick play and not crash down. but we know EA they cant code that shit into the game
