Here’s an easy fix. Ea just needs to implement a mode where you can’t use any abilities. I’m cool with theme teams but I dont like how so many cards have multiple team chems. The ranked top 100 rewards should be the only cards to get all team chems and that’s it. Theme teams should only be 50/50 for plus one speed and that should be the max boost to speed.
TT can stay, abilities can go

Just looking for a permanent cool down mode within ultimate team like they've done in the house rules before. I guess they had mentioned making this mode permanent before but obviously that hasn't happened.

Not even gonna lie like this take but I think keep theme teams and make wr's catch and defenders play defense. Ea wont do it though, greedy
Agree, abilities made it a rpg as opposed to a sports game. Much better product pre abilities imo. I've lost most interest in madden over the years due to it.

Abilities are nice but ko,s all over the d is just dumb. Always dropping the ball regardless of catch rating is soo anyoing .

Abilities 100% have to go. Receivers can't catch with out them, quarterbacks can't throw without them, linemen can't block without them etc.
The biggest issue with theme teams rn is how many players can get every theme team chem. There used to be a downside to running a theme team because you would be stuck with some massive holes in your roster. Now you can plug in a ton of extra chemistry bonuses so you don't have to leave those spots exposed.

100% agree. MUT 16 and 17 were my favourite. simple, no super hero crap that makes the game play like ass. And better rewards from solos - packs instead of specific players, makes more random teams.

Gauntlet, journey, rrewards at the end of solos, no ncat bnd or nat. Mut 16 is my favorite mut. It had its issues with the swerve catch, aggressive catch, and mike scrape 3 but the content provided didn't have me thinking about the negative things. Also they had mut master and the 99ovr solo to where you got 100k for beating a solo if your team was 99ovr. Now ea rewards you by giving you options to buy packs after certain milestones
