I swear they give the same players cards every year. I get that some deserve them, but there are so many hall of famers and amazing players that they are missing it’s dissapointing.

NIL. Likely EA simply pays for and manages a limited number of such agreements each year, and they’re quickly consumed by the various programs.
Certainly EA could get more agreements, but with the numbers tossed around for some of the individual costs, I can understand why EA would draw a line at what they’re willing to pay for a name when they’ve already got the rights to every current player.

There are lots of missing players but I definerely wouldn’t say I hate the Legends program. This year especially they’ve given some players who haven’t gotten a card in years a chance such as Joe Horn, Jeff Garcia, and Carson Palmer. In the end, it does come down to who wants to make an agreement with EA, and unfortunately there will be players like Barry Sanders who don’t get a card. At the end of the day, I focus on old players getting good new cards rather than the players who missed out.

just my opinion and not tryna be a punk but those are 3 players that I wouldn’t touch with a 10 ft pole. 95%+ of MUT players could care less about Palmer and Garcia who are neither one top 30 QBs all time. Maybe top 50. Joe Horn was good but we’re talking another not top 50 guy. The program is ok. I just feel as if the cards you can get with tokens are usually bad week in and week out but with Dawkins coming this week, that completely changes.
Pretty wild we haven't seen a Bo or Jerry Rice all year.
