As long as Madden makes money, the NFL is satisfied. I doubt they really look into every aspect of Madden. As long as it makes money, they don't care.

I like your optimism but Madden has been a terrible game for years and the NFL has done absolutely nothing. Far more likely is that EA make some incremental improvements to the game by porting over stuff from the college version and we scrape along the bottom of the minimum expected to keep the license. The NFL also has a history of not caring what the consumer wants and operating in a market with zero competition so these two are a match made in heaven, unfortunately.

No, I’m saying 2k has an Ultimate team like mode in an existing game and it is and has been terrible for years. 2k came out with a football game years back and it was absolutely one of the worst games I ever played as a kid.

I agree, I was also very disappointed, but I'd like to think that if I was in their shoes, I wouldn't let this opportunity to get payback on EA for what they did.

I’m actually encouraged by the results here. It seems with the right organization, message and plan of action people could get behind it. The question is how to do that.  I’m starting to think a place/website where people can view, register and contribute towards this is what is needed. Linked heavily to social media platforms and with some enticing fun reasons to come by as well. Like maybe combining it with “MUT Leagues.” An idea that has ended up on the back burner.   

I really appreciate all of you discussing this. It is very helpful.
