I’m trying to get an idea of what everyone thinks. So please comment if you have something to add.
a 2nd question with it. What message would you need associated with this to take part in something like this?

We need a combination of boycotts, social media campaigns, and pressure on the NFL.
1. Players stop purchasing and encourage others to do the same.
2. Use hashtags like NFLendEA or FixMadden on social media, and share video evidence of bugs, lazy game design, or glitches.
3. Reach out to the NFL and NFLPA through petitions, emails, and social media, demanding they end the exclusivity agreement with EA.
4. Change in-game team names to phrases like FixMadden or NFLendEA.
5. Create a petition demanding the NFL open its licensing to multiple developers.
I've already stopped all purchases and posted NFLendEA on the NFL page on X.
We have a lot of complaining on these forums, but very little action.
Hopefully all the goons uninstall with you so I can get some more easy superbowl wins :)

There is like 25 people that post here lol. Even if we all stopped spending, it wouldn't even make a dent. Good luck getting thousands of people to follow. EA probably reached their quota for the year so they won't care either way.

The exciting part of all this is that 2K has a multiyear deal with the NFL to create a non-simulation game.
They can use NFL team names, images, and likenesses.
They can essentially make a competitive version of MUT, but it's not tied down to "Simulation" style rules, they can take abilities to the next level and create a competitive game where the (gameplay) feels like a Sim but the abilities do not (it must be non-sim), but in this case, we would not expect the game to feel Sim.

It takes my Xbox like 6 hours to reinstall Madden. So I'm out on that. I don't spend on MUT anymore either.

You may be right. Where would you go to reach out to more people who play this game?
I’m taking it as a good sign people are willing to talk about it. I’m willing to swing and miss as opposed to never stepping up to the plate.
Let‘s keep it rolling
I don't see how Uninstalling madden would be different than just not playing. They're probably the better way to put what you're trying to accomplish. Peopledon't play for a weekend or something.
But in reality, money makes companies listen. That'sthe only incentive they have to change. The recent stock hits appeal volumes and I suspect there will be changes, hopefully madden benefits from those changes.
But if anyone is unhappy with the product, the biggest thing you can do is not buy it and certainly not spend on packs. Youdo those things and get others to do similar and you'll be getting your message across.

I guess social media? Twitter, tik tok, or whatever else people use today but you also have to hope people listen. For the few who may listen, you have dozens who will ignore it and not care since there are more casual players than hardcore players and i don't think they really care about the things we care about. Pack odds, gameplay, rewards, some people just accept it and still play and spend.

Myteam is literally worse than MUT
None of this will matter one bit to EA. Big companies react to one thing - money. Even then, it'd be years before consumer choice had any material impact on their decisions. Sadly we're stuck with a terrible game made by a terrible company and do not expect the NFL, a league built on the idea of a closed-market cartel, do anything about it either.
I love the enthusiasm but this is a war we will lose unless there is some type of legal thing that comes up like Fortnite

You're comparing 35 years of development to a first release.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.
The NFL expects Madden to be an accurate representation of their products.
That's why EA claims that Madden is a Simulation of the NFL, but the NFL players don't have abilities and X-Factors.
Brady did not play WR or Punter.
I believe that the correct strategy is to push the NFL by providing evidence that Madden is not representing their products as intended.
We know that EA doesn't care, so let's talk to their daddy.
if you don't like the game, don't play it. Theres plenty of other people that will continue to play even with a uninstall and theres no other comp so people will just come back. Yes the game has many flaws and they are greedy AF, but everyone here still plays it because there's no other options
