At even $5 per hour (for child slave labor wages?), you could have earned thirty bucks towards this card, which would have more than paid for basically any Team Diamond.  They're not even as elite as they once were.  Still very, very good cards, but they're not going to change you game in any meaningful way.  Julius Peppers (LE) continues to be an absolute stud on my squad, he's been as fast as the best receivers in the game, can chase down QBs from behind and gets a decent 0AP ability bucket.  However, there's other good pass rushers these days.

I'm not sure how or why folks love to brandish that as some weird badge of honor.  I bought a $25 pack for one of my squad mates, hoping the "NMS" stuff might go away.  Heh, still persists... i basically just ignore it at this point, but perhaps it's from a prior era where values meant something.

I think it’s because of ppls ego. some people feel like it’s cheating for some people to be able to get god squads without any work being put into the game. so for them they think they are better than others and won’t shut the frick up about it🤣

For the 1-2M coins you can just buy these cards for twenty bucks and not have to stress over interacting with a bunch of mouth-breathers.  Just my two cents, but be careful out there.  Unless they have some of the best fluffers in the world there, my goodness, waiting five hours for whaaat?

Excellent point, sir.  Absolutely about ego.  That's what fuels me to pump an obscene amount of cash into this bad casino for kids... hurts my ego when i have to sit here and watch some little twat dance his way down the field after he heaves a prayer into double (or triple) coverage, only to have my defenders dumb out and trip and tumble over one another, while lil bro struts into the end zone.

The correct decision would be for me to grow the fuck up and move on to any number of the decent, if not truly good video game titles out there, but nothing really scratches that itch quite liek "simulation" fatball on the virtual gridiron.  I'm still having a ball playing Squads with my boyz, but beyond that, there is little value contained within our beloved and once great Madden franchise.  I'm literally buying the same cards/content year after year and EA is happy to keep selling me Madden 2023 cards, with a "vintage" label and i'm dumb enough to fork over my hard-earned cash.  Oof.

Not to mention, this casino for kids shit might as well be crack.  I'm powerless to turn it off, a full blown MUT-addict, as sad as that reality is to have to face.  I've tried basically every other football title that exists in the PlayStation store, for PSVR2, classic, etc.  I realize not everything can be Tecmo Bowl, but it shouldn't be that difficult to have a fun, fair, balanced, modern, competitive football title.  Hopefully ai tools continue to improve, which should allow smaller and smaller teams to crank out content and games that were only possible with 9-figure budgets in the recent past.

We're STILL waiting for him to tell us if any content landed on his account?  Last i heard was the "code worked" and now he's just waiting for content to hit his account and profile.  I think in the past i was told they typically sent out content on Thursdays?  Or was it Tuesday?  Sorry, i'm old, my memory is failing.  I got hooked up and received my BND Julius Peppers right before they went on Thanksgiving break, so uhhh WED/THURS of that week in late November.

My 2 cents (whatever they're worth):

1. Dude MIGHT have wanted to also experience the atmosphere of a Live Event OR had time on his hands. Either way it's HIS decision as to how HE CHOSE to spend 5 hours of his life...

2. For SOME players (eg the younger ones); they may NOT have the option of working those 5 hours to earn money. They may be at school or unemployed (admittedly that raises the question of how they afforded the game 😎) or disabled or on social security, etc. For them all they have to trade is TIME. We shouldn't make them feel inferior.

3. Some people just enjoy the challenge of building an account from 0 to something significant. They can afford to spend on packs but instead value the thrill of seeing the account grow. 

I personally set a goal of getting to a particula coin stack before the SB. Once I did (2 weeks ago), I've lost motivation to grow my stack and am now content to just coast till Ultimate Legends and Golden Tickets

In other words, they're many reasons why someone could choose to be NMS or MMS (Minimum Money Spent) or LMS (Low Money Spent). All of which are equally valid as long as they work for THAT person.

Of course, it's ABSOLUTELY fine to also spend money as long as yo  can afford it and it doesn't become a gambling obsession. 

PS: I was recent enlightened as per MMS and LMS 😆. I has no idea those terms existed until a recent post 😏
