I realize that many in the community are literal children, or young adults, so i don't hold this stuff against anyone/everyone... but please, people, KNOW YOUR WORTH.  I realize it's a cliche saying, but it's TRUE.  Time is money.  There's so many quality products out there screaming for our attention.  I get it, i really do, i'm ridiculously addicted to this awful, broken, buggy ass, inconsistent mess of a game, but

At even $5 per hour (for child slave labor wages?), you could have earned thirty bucks towards this card, which would have more than paid for basically any Team Diamond.  They're not even as elite as they once were.  Still very, very good cards, but they're not going to change you game in any meaningful way.  Julius Peppers (LE) continues to be an absolute stud on my squad, he's been as fast as the best receivers in the game, can chase down QBs from behind and gets a decent 0AP ability bucket.  However, there's other good pass rushers these days.

I'm not sure how or why folks love to brandish that as some weird badge of honor.  I bought a $25 pack for one of my squad mates, hoping the "NMS" stuff might go away.  Heh, still persists... i basically just ignore it at this point, but perhaps it's from a prior era where values meant something.

For the 1-2M coins you can just buy these cards for twenty bucks and not have to stress over interacting with a bunch of mouth-breathers.  Just my two cents, but be careful out there.  Unless they have some of the best fluffers in the world there, my goodness, waiting five hours for whaaat?

i know what you're saying but maybe 20 bucks probably 100. and i'm on a budget. and i was hoping the peppers was in the fantasy pack.

so i'm going back tonight, showing up right at 5pm 22nd, and just going to ask them for another code card.

worth a try at this point, if they say yes i should be good, not staying for the whole thing again though.

if they say no, then Mcs/ea/madden live events aren't for me.

ill keep promos/giveaways only to simple stuff... no more leaving work early, driving through pouring rain, sitting 5 hours in bleachers, getting home late, wasting gas, and tolls.

NEW UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i went back last night, raced there leaving work 30mins early, trying to beat orlando traffic. got there at 5:05. i went straight to the event entrance to the security scans, and they asked me if i was a player or spectator. said no spectators allowed in yet. there's a lady that has been sitting by the entrance that could hear me, that seemed like she runs things, so i told the security guy that im there to talk to her. she hears me and gives me her attention. i said please hear me out: i signed up and registered for this, took time of work, fought through traffic, sat here last night for 5 hrs. and the gift i was promised from EA wasn't even close, and i would like her help on helping EA get it right. anyway i guess she doesn't work for EA, maybe Fullsail, but she said let me get the Ea guy. and they called this guy to the gate he was there quik, i told him the details, and as soon as he heard and saw the card i was given, he knew, and said yes np, you were given the wrong card/code those were just extra giveaways. and the one you need ill be right back with. he was back in less than a minute, handed me a flyer type card and said this is the one you need. it was totally different, had all the details and info on the giveaway. said where to go to redeem. and that there was a bit of delay after you redeem it, till you get it. thanked them, and jetted out as i had to be home by 6pm. got him redeemed the code on the site vs. console, like the guy, and flyer said. code took, looked good. but checked after church, and this morning and still no pack:) however the guy said it takes awhile, and someone on youtube said the same. so i'm still thinking optimistically. i asked the EA guy if i could have 2 for the trouble he said there's no way, id have to stay for the event, but i could not. had to get this off my chest. TBD!!! LETS SEE EA BE GREAT AND COME THROUGH

As an elderly person myself, it did cause me to chuckle which caused me to throw my back out.

This has certainly been an entertaining read. While I would not have gone to the MCS I 👏 you for your accomplishment. Sounds like you held EA accountable and saw it through. More than most of us will ever be able to say about our interactions with EA. Pretty sure my interactions have been restricted to bots and automated messages.

well online EA help wasn't looking very hopeful. But because i was there face to face they had to do something, plus there were witnesses.   thats why i went back

I'm dying with suspense here, man.  Great tale, grats on securing that, way to keep yer eye on the prize.  I still think for how much time and effort went into this, you almost certainly would have been better off spending the gas money on the Platinum offer that is currently in stores, for barely over twenty bucks i got lucky and pulled 1.2M coins (quicksell value) from my offer.  I doubt everyone will be lucky enough to roll an 85 and an 88 in that offer, but it's definitely possible and not exceedingly rare.

Anyhoo, this isn't about my dumbass, what did you get with yer offer?  Please try to record a video of you opening the pack, or at the very least a screenshot so we can all share in your glory and hard-earned rewards.  Hope your wildest dreams are about to come true.  Although, if yer wildest dreams entail Madden Ultimate Team, we probably need to sit down and have a serious conversation.  Keep up the outstanding work, man.  Thanks for sharing your story in such detail.  ✊
