Cards getting more and more expensive

Just two mut's ago the top cards were in the hundred(s) thousand rage. Why has the market inflated so much?

This team costs just over 22M coin. This early in the game?! That's INSANE. These cards will be obsolete in a month or two.

Will we see a 10M card by the end of this MUT?

pack odds are ass unless you spend money and even then its still kinda bad.

95 TD cards were at 10 mil+ for the first hour they were out

I miss NAT's!  At least you could toss those in sets.  BND is worthless IMO.

TBH, if your team costs more then 10 million coins combined, you are just throwing coins down the drain. 

LTD's are always going to be overpriced. If you do not buy any ltd's you can typically field a competitive team for 6-8 million coins depending on when you buy as well as which "free cards you choose to add to your line up.

I think people are spending way more money on packs this year chasing LTDs and particular theme teams. There are way too many people sitting on 30 million plus coins. It's actually kind of disgusting because you can only roster 22 guys essentially. You dont need that many coins if you do good on swapping out your most expensive cards and upgrading.  

For instance, I bought Roquan for 2 million. No one card should be that much to me. I thought maybe I would rent him for a bit and sell at 1.5 mil. But, when I saw only about 5-10 cards on the market. I said when he leaves packs, his price will shoot up. Sold him at 2.7 mil a couple of days later. Simmons is dropping in a week.  But, Ill take my 450k profit now and upgrade one or two positions right now and still have about 3-4 million coins.

Less people playing

Very few people use all the top cards unless there is a mcs event.

LTDs used to be pretty bad and would spit at a much higher rate, so the best cards were set pieces.    They also do away with any good packs that aren't points/limited amount of time you can pull to 10 or less.  You used to be able to churn through training/alt currency.

LTD's are super expensive this year because: 1) awful pack odds 2) no TVP 3) better rewards from H2H gameplay vs solo battles/seasons.

The Madden market used to be driven by how good champions were. Now it's driven based off the $ offers. If a sought after LTD doesn't have a special offer with 20% or better odds of pulling it, it's non-existent and overpriced. EA is gradually doing away with training, hence why roll odds are overpriced and terrible to rip. Pack odds just as bad. And with no TVP to spit out LTD's, you're limited to basically just offers.

Yep. I member those days. MUT is struggling and has been for a while. The content they have been offering since Zero Chill has been pitiful at best and only more restrictive by design. I’m worried about where this is leading.

I've played MUT religiously since Madden 20 and I'm leaning towards this being my last year. Just isn't that fun anymore honestly. H2H gets so repetitive and it's becoming  a very expensive hobby if you want to field a good team.
