I know it’s late into the madden season but I just was wondering, which version is better? I see that Drew Brees has over the top rating of seven and Marcus Mariota has an over-the-top rating of two which direction is the better one and what does it mean?
It's their releases, which is just how the fast the ball releases from their hand as u begin to throw. Personally, I think Mariota's releases is better but it usually comes down to preference tbh
its not a rating. its what style their throwing motion is. as for which one is better, im not sure.

no, all you need to know is that Over the Top 2 (Luck, MariGOATa, Keenum), Three Quarters 1 (Lamar Jackson, Jayden Daniels), Three Quarters 5 (Baker Mayfield, and Low Three Quarters 2 (Josh Allen, Anthony Richarson) are some of the best releases in the game

Thats good to know but what I’m asking is where are you getting this information from? is it all speculation?

trial and error. best thing to do is find solos where they sub in players in and you can test them out that way. youll definitely notice the difference. some guys take forever to hot route/audbile or throw deep passes. I cant really give you names because ive basically only used brady and baker this year. I know when I had stroud early in the year his release was awful so ill be avoiding his cards haha.
