Anybody else having an issue with selecting a 3rd X-Factor on both offense and defense? Ever since zero chill promo ended and AP costs reset I can only select 2 of them. It gives me the message “Exceeded the maximum of 3 players with X-Factors enabled for the lineup“.

Yes, I had the same problem. The only solution was to auto generate a lineup and then rebuild. I run a theme team where my depth players aren’t the best choices at backup, so I had to manually rebuild my roster to get 40/40 chemistry.

Whoever was your old xfactor you needed to take out on lineup then put him back in

You don't have to do all that
Just remove the player you're taking the X Factor off of completely
from the lineup, EVERY POSITION HE'S IN .
Then add the XFactor to the new player and activate it.
Then you can put the other player back in or somebody else .
