If you know the cheat plays that overcome the current patch, you can win against guys who don't execute cheese as well as you do. It takes a few videos, and playing a football game like it isn't really football.
He's not a savant. Just another one of them.
I completely understand why you would automatically assume that I am “one of them” so no hard feelings.
I have been playing MUT for several years and I have never played the way that you described me. I don’t watch YouTube, MCS, Twitch (I’m old and don’t enjoy any of those things). I don’t know the cheese plays or latest glitch until I see it in H2H’s. A lot of players repeat these same plays and I try different things until I figure out how to stop it.
Last April I finally caved and bought a PS5 and Madden 24. Switching from old gen was a challenge as MUT feels like a completely different game on current gen. It took me a while to get used to the mechanics (and all of the RPO’s). That being said, when I left MUT24 just after Christmas I was #212 on the H2H leaderboard with 600+ Wins and 100 Losses. Yes, I understand all of the best players left 24 in the Summer to prep/play 25 so I’m not claiming to be the best player, nor do I believe I am. Unfortunately I am just incredibly stubborn and when my opponent starts running cheese plays it makes me want to stick around and find a way to beat them.
