Been a commanders fan my whole life and been playing mut since as long as I can remember. And I am 100% in agreeance with the vibe and sentiment of this post LOL

I’m a browns fan but I will not complain. The tt def needs pieces and this was a great win for it. Hopefully we can get some defensive lineman because the best affordable commanders tt defensive lineman is 92 Bruce smith😭

I will be curious to see who gets upgrades for the next playoffs round with cards they just gave. Mikey a s***** 88 overall so I don't think they'll give him an upgrade even though he got two picks in that game. 

As much as I want there to be a jd5 upgrade I see them stringing us along all the way until he gets offensive rookie of the Year card which will suck because that'll be after the super bowl probably.

That is unless we win the NFC championship and he gets the super bowl card 🤯

Jayden Daniels is giving the Commanders their best football since Alex Smith. Washington fans have suffered a long time. Things might have worked out differently if they hadn't axed Gruden, but hindsight is one of those 20/20 theme team things.

Maybe they'll give eckler an upgrade finally since he hasn't had one since his team builder card

No ones old enough to be typing on the internet that was a "commanders fan their whole life" And the people old enough to be lifelong fans of the team would never state it that way. Lol

If youre 46 and been a fan your whole life youd think youd call them by their actual name. Or at LEAST do the mike florio thing and call them washington. Maybe im just jaded and reading too much into things. Either way, i hate this game, AND im mad the easy to root for fun to watch lions are out. No offense. Lol

I’m not a fan of political correctness, but since some people actually do care about the feelings of indigenous peoples enough to avoid an ethnic slur, I’m just not sure harassing a Commanders regarding the name he’ll continue to identify his team by is a winning play.

The literal deacendants of the giy the logo was modeled after have repeatedly say they want it back. Thats not the issue. If the patriots changed their name tomorrow (for any reason) id call them the patriots still. Because im not even as old as him, but im old enough, and no one will tell me what to think or say. Lol

Niners fan here. Adam Peters is doing a great job in washington. Enjoy the new cards coming out for your theme team. I had a blast this time last year in mut.

Frankly, if you’re not indigenous, I don’t feel you get to have a moral high ground over a position on a name alone. There are far more relevant things a person could do to help lift an oppressed people out of a terrible cycle of poverty, but it’s so much easier to think you’re a good person because you use nice words in front of the camera.

Nevertheless, the Patriots and the R-word are clearly not on the same level. There’s also this goofy grammatical issue that makes the use of place-names in some contexts clunky. You can say “The Commanders”, but you can’t say, “The Washington”.
