I’m stuck about 50 rp before hero 1 and I wanna know if anyone has some tips to get there. My team is a 92 ovr and I run colts offense abt titans defense
Uh, win games?

Yeah that’s what I need some tips on. I was 14-2 before ruby 3 and now for every 3 games I lose I win 1
I don’t know if this helps or not, but I don’t play consecutive games in ranked. I’ll play a season game or a champs game and then go back. I may be wrong, but I’m convinced the matchmaking is more difficult if you play and dominate an opponent or just win - the next matchup will be tougher. If you just enter ranked I feel like they match you up based on your team level. maybe I’m wrong but it worked for me so I keep doing it - lol
The system is built that you dont lose many point after each loss. You just have to have the capability to "win" games.
I agree with cnizzote play a ranked game switch modes then go back or if you win multiple games in ranked then loose I would switch modes and go back it seems like they give you easier opps or worse teams than yours

The best advice i received before starting Ranked play a couple months ago was to simply, "play a lot of games." No real magic trick -- even if yer only winning 1 out of every 3-4 games, you should still continue to progress forward. I'm trying to take my own advice, as i've been slow and struggling to motivate to want to dive into Ranked. Having WAY more fun playing Squads with my boyz, even if there's tons of random disconnects and insta-losses which constantly push us back down to Rookie tier.
OVR rating does not matter. You should be trying to match up abilities to areas of the field. Getting as many MZKOs on defense as possible will be GAME CHANGING. It's difficult to over-state. Look at legends, specifically. There's two Safeties which are not that expensive, can be grabbed for free, both with discounted MZKO. This is how/where i would recommend most people start. Man coverage is way too inconsistent, you only play that if yer rushing 6-7 blitzers every single down, but that just turns into a shootout. Defense is difficult, but it is possible to get stops, even if it's somewhat rare.
Then same thing for corners. Carlton Davis is still quite pricey, but very soon everyone will be able to grab a Marlon Humphrey BND, from Playoffs promo. His 2AP MZKO makes him elite, one of the best corners in the entire game and not unreasonably expensive.
