When you did AKA sets you had a chance to pull a LTD even after the 2 days were done. Does anyone know if they did the same for the AKA Icons?
You can't pull a limited at all in the aka icon sets. They aren't like the last aka at all. Just read the description on SAUCE

Appreciate the response. I don't see anything in the description that tells me you can't pull it from sets. The text is pretty close to what it says on AKA LTD's :
- This Vintage LTD version has an additional discount to Medium Route KO compared to the Champion Version. and MUT 25 AKA Icons LTD. This item quicksells for 350,000 Coins.

But it doesn't state that there is a chance for the limited version on the SET card, like the last ones did

I haven't checked the set itself since I am not in game but the SET cards for AKA don't say anything about being able to get a LTD either nor does the SET cards in the description on this site.

I mean that's absolutely not true. The old aka sets said complete this set for a chance at the LTD version. These do not say that at all.

Yep 💯

I said I am not in game so can't see the set, so never said anything about what the set says. I was just pointing out that the cards on this site do not tell you either way for either program. But do appreciate the confirmation that you cannot pull LTD's from the set from both of you.

Yeah it really is a bummer. Even though I never got lucky and pulled the LTD versions. It at least gave me motivation to try the old aka sets.
Anytime they introduce anything cool that could possibly benefit us, they seem to remove it.

You basically just described EA's whole situation -- they've removed tons of features over the years, then want to make headlines when they give some small sliver of that back to us. Oof. The entire AKA Icons promotion has been ruined. Without X-factors that start ON, it makes these all essentially worthless. Legends are already getting dual discounted buckets, even if most of em are terrible, that's where we're headed.

I agree completely with this. I would pay a bit more in some cases to build the Champ in hopes of getting a LTD. I thought that was a really cool idea. Like you I never got one, but I thought it was a brilliant way to get people to complete sets. Guess it was a failed money maker for them, so they removed it.
