On my 7th year of MUT...i think Road to the Super bowl is one of the worst mode ever made

Did we really need another DDA loaded sweat fest when we alraedy have champions

Once you reach the playoffs, the game will match you up against someone not in the playoffs, then tilt the game to them

Although it does the same thing in your favor when your not in playoffs and your opponent is

They dont want anymore to get AJ Brown or Douglas

It wouldnt suprise me if no one has actually won this mode...and EA just puts random AJ Browns/Douglas on the auction block to "make it look like people won"

Honestly, couldnt we get another non ELO/non DDA honest game mode such as the MutMas draft

Its amazing how they go from creating the most mode in one promo...to following it up with the worst mode.

Just put a custom draft event each game mode...its THAT SIMPLE

Jim, I am also puzzled right now as to what is going on. I mainly stick to solo stuff and play the cpu, but these rewards are not worth the time right now. The solo Super Bowl was a long to play, with excruciating 5 minute quarters, and in the end, you get 10,000 coins or less. The rewards for the field pass are not good either. In the AFC championship game of the solo Super Bowl event,  I had to play against the Buccaneers, an NFC team. The write ups for the latest TOTW challenges were all jacked up. The Steeler playoff card was Quez Watkins. Did Quez even get any play time this year for the Steelers? 

And there is weird stuff going on with CFB also. Every pack I buy to get National Championship player is giving me other types of player like College Kickoff. 

I m not sure if they are over-whelmed at the moment or if they are outsourcing the game design and programming to people that do not watch football or if there is another reason?

I had to stop playing this mode. It’s gotten to the point where it’s not even fun to play when the game just doesn’t play correctly not to mention there’s no other mode that really has me wanting to play .

The rewards are just not good. I don’t really care about the tickets for the players so I don’t see the point in playing the champions mode and the season rewards is really nothing special.   

There’s no way to really gain coins for cards or to open up these packs with coins . The math just isn’t mathing  

Now as far as if  DDA is in the game, if I were EA I would say there is DDA in the game because if there isn’t some kind of equalizer or slider and the game just plays this way then it would only mean that is just a really broken game and that doesn’t look good

Does anyone actually enjoy this mode?

I've been sidelined from persistent head-to-head for most of MUT 25. I'm competitive until my opponents are cheesy, and then I haven't a shot. And playing in these consecutive-wins modes is asking to be cheesed. People have other things to do besides play MUT, even the career MUT players and the MCS wannabes. They don't have time for fair play. They're grinding out cheesy wins as a matter of course, with no regret. Why subject myself to that? And why would you expect anything else?

I have no problem saying outright the top-winning quartile of this community are human beings unconcerned about decency and sportsmanship. They're callous to the experience of the opposing user. Their enjoyment of the game comes first, and that enjoyment is sustained by acquiring the best cards to pair with the best cards they previously acquired through the same bad behavior. This is the ecosystem that EA has created, and EA's not inclined to change anything.

So I log in to complete my dailies, spend a little time playing MUT menus, come here to vent, and move on to the next thing I'm likely to enjoy far more than I enjoyed MUT today, hoping against hope that EA might eventually fix this.

I dislike all pro difficulty, so not a fan of that. The rest is the same as any “toxic”’Madden online game. It’s sweaty just like basically every mode in this game.

If Rasul/AJ didn’t sell for what they sold for, no I wouldn’t play. I doubt anyone else would either.

that's my view, don't really care for the event, but the amount of coins made in this event will last me for the rest of the year.

Yeah, well, only cheaters win in this game anymore, so enjoy your coins playing against the rest of the cheaters. Pretty soon the casuals will have been driven away, and you all can sweat all over each other just as much as you want.

I can’t say I‘ve enjoyed playing this mode but I don’t like spending real $$$ on terrible packs and I don’t enjoy spending 100’s of hours grinding out every minimal reward I can get.

That being said I settled in last night ready for a sweat fest and that’s what I got. The first 5 games weren’t too bad but once I hit the playoffs it became much more challenging. I encountered plenty of cheese on offense and defense, much of this I wasn’t prepared for but I was determined to overcome and find a way to win. Prior to this mode I had only played about 15 H2H games in MUT 25 since I just got the game after Christmas.

In the end my Super Bowl matchup was by far my most difficult opponent and it took all 4 quarters to grind out the win. I spent roughly 4 hours and I made about 1.2mil coins from selling A.J. While I didn’t enjoy the mode, I accepted the challenge and feel it was worth my time as opposed to grinding the season pass or challenges for minimal rewards.

its amusing the amount of crying this game has, my first year of MUT and have never seen the amount of crying about whatever in a multiplayer game like this one.

doing 30 minutes of research on the game makes me a cheater b/c i can block a loop, double mug, etc.

i have never seen a playerbase with weaker mentals, just being even-keeled w/ basic knowledge of the game is good enough to be above-avg in this game

Champs right now is not that hard, I am not very good at the game and do not have a great team, and and I’m 8-2

If you’re watching YouTube for the AI exploits to ’git gud’ in thirty minutes, you’re playing the AI, not a football game. Congratulations: You’re winning at MUT. Of the last three iterations of MUT, this has decidedly been the worst when it comes to glitches that undermine everything football should be. Those of us who know the sport have to watch videos that tell us how to defend stuff in ways that would never work on an NFL field, and certainly not repeatedly.

But go ahead, bro, and come in here and judge those of us who understand football and tell us how thirty minutes of YouTube made you Bill Walsh.

Just in MUT 25. He's probably been playing MUT for years, and understands that winning at MUT is about playing in a way that circumvents the AI. If you know the cheat plays that overcome the current patch, you can win against guys who don't execute cheese as well as you do. It takes a few videos, and playing a football game like it isn't really football.

He's not a savant. Just another one of them.
