How far would you travel to watch the MCS in person thing for the 95 OVR TD player?

Wait, what?  You have to show up in person to earn a free card?  That's kind of bogus.  Good luck, let us know how it goes.  I'm not sure you could pay me to interact with the Madden mouth-breathers.  We're kind of a toxic bunch.  Most are literal children, or twenty-somethings indistinguishable from actual children, at least when interacting online.

EA is really not trying to reward anyone. My guess is this event will have less views. I only had it playing in the background for the free card lol. EA is complete dogshit but this is the only madden which is saaaaad

0 miles.  Unless there was good free food, then maybe 2 miles.

I’d say there is a less than 10% chance I’m actually gonna go. im off work next week, but was planning on going to universal and the movies by myself during the day lol…then picking my girlfriend up from work at 5

just can’t justify the waste of time for cards that will become irrelevant in a couple weeks 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now... to be fair... isn't there a part of you that's curious as to how ridiculous the in-person experience would be for this event?  Who are the kind of people who show up for these things in the first place?  I'm guessing there'd be a bizarro entertainment value in all of it.  And for your sanity, bring a flask and call an Uber.

Its all the players(including significant others, family, friends, one guy had like a manager/marketing guy), all the broadcast team, EA employees  and their family/kids, and the general population.  From my experience it was mostly just young adults like college, and guys dressed in football jerseys.

What else do you guys rather do with your valuable time?  Play madden?  lol

Makes sense.  Watching (ok, that term is a stretch) the MCS events is still odd for me.  The wacky analysis before and in between the games feels so profoundly ridiculous to me, I have to ask myself "are these guys serious? Or is it a big grift?"  But then again, at my age, I'm not in the target demographic of e-sports (or video games in general)...
