Playoffs upgradeable players. How many should we have?

I got the 1 playoff upgradable player about a week ago.  Should we have 2?   

There's a playoff objective to win 20 games with a wildcard divisional playoff player and a divisional playoff winner?

You should only have the 1. The player pool has been split into players whose teams are still remaining in the playoffs and those whose teams were eliminated.

Ah, so i chose the Lions player.  So I wont be able to finish the wild card winner objectives.

Correct and once in the Conference championship I'm guessing it'll be the same. An objective you can complete and one you can't, and if I'm not mistaken that will be to get the last upgrade token.
