I present the best way to use the exuberance amount of Eagles DBs. Using this lineup you can have up to 6 Zone KOs on the field with the ability to change your DBs around so that the defense is always fresh. We are going to base this defense out of the Vikings Playbook using Nickel 2-4, coverage adjustment SS Nickel. You will then adjust your depth chart so that Blankenship is your Nickel Defender and Byard is your #2 CB on the outside. This adjustment allows the Nickel defender access to safety adjustments that include Middle Third. So now you can have a cover 3 or cover 4 shell, with Mr. Blankenship able to follow a receiver to the middle third and move your FS to the outer third. This will give you multiple ways to throw different zone reads in this formation with speedy DBs in every roll. If you have Jordan Fuller, you can put Derwin James in as a Sub LB to take the roll of Sean Taylor, giving you max coverage with all 7 of your 11 defenders. Happy hunting!
