2X 40/40 Theme Team

I’ve seen a couple people say that two 40/40 theme teams are possible. I know you would need team diamond 95s as well but is it actually possible? I’ve tried doing the math and it doesn’t look like it is.

probably possible for some theme teams and not for others. you’d 100% need the TD 95 for both teams as well as every team builder card, then probably need rookie premier players with x2 team chem

Word on the street is that you can build two full 40 + 40 theme teams, IF you have at least three of the 95 Team Diamonds, which get x3 team chems.

I think that it’s gotta be theme team specific. I am trying to do the Ravens and Eagles and I just can’t get there with three of the full team diamonds and all team builders. I have an epic team strategy card and two captains maxed. The only thing I don’t have is rookie premier cards in my favor for either team

It was my understanding that it's only possible to get a max of 40/39 including rookie premier and team diamonds.

That makes sense to be honest. Even trying to do the math for adding everything together I still cannot come up to 40/40. You would also need 4 team diamonds for it to be even close. Until I see a picture of someone with it I think people are just gaslighting everyone.

you prob need both peppers and eli as well as your 95 from each team as they’ll be x6 chem per team and 4 roster spots

then your 82, 86, 87, 90 TB for each team, that’s x8 chem per team and 8 roster spots

so we are at x14 out of 40 per team chem and 12 roster spots leaving 43 players (55 max team) 

you need 26 more for each team (52 total) with 43 players remaining

looks like you’d be about 9 shy of a second 40 without any other x2 chem players

You have Eli and/or Peppers? I'm sorry I'm unable to help here, I don't really have deep enough pockets to wanna go all in right now, as such I haven't attempted this myself. 

I kind of went opposite direction, back to my beloved 49ers theme team with a handful of +5 (Cowgrrls, Commanders & Lions) for that +1 ACC. Kind of waiting for affordable cards with dual discounted ability buckets. 

Would love to add 40 Ravens, or Bucs or Lions maybe. I only have Julius Peppers at the moment, sold Eli to fund my Ravens TT during Zero Chill. 

Would love to hear what you figure out. I believe I just have five RP in my binder (Jaydn Daniels, Tyler Nubin, JC Latham, Rome Odunze & Terrion Arnold) plus Puka, but think he only gets one team chem bucket.

Honestly, if you can afford it, Bucs + TOTW or Lions + TOTW seems pretty elite, but that's a bit off topic. 👊

40/38 is the highest a can get with Rams/Vikings
