Started MUT late this year, (sorry if this has been brought up already), but what happened to base/man alignment after the huddle? I know you can toggle this in coaching adjustments, but why not during pre snap? Am I missing something or can you no longer do this? 100% how I keep my guys in the correct position against certain formations and was a huge problem playing last night. Any word on this?

If i see a corner misaligned if im playing man I shade him to match up since they no longer have the convenient man align quick adjustment.

So, they really removed this from the game? Defense is hard enough without having to individually move players. I typically run a mix of man and zone each play, so this is a mess for me. Also, this is how I adjusted for RPO spammers. Surprised more people aren't complaining about this. Did EA ever give a reason? Just seems absurd.

You have to set base in your coaching adjustments. Them taking away the ability to base alignment on the fly is fucking frustrating

Yep, I typically set my coaching adjustments to base. If they come out in a tight set, I'll stay, but if they come out in trips or spread sets that's when I would typically man align and/or change my defense. Now, it's just dumb. If I'm in base against trips or spread my guys are totally out of position and I can't do anything about it unless I manually move them. If I set my coaching adjustments to man align, then I'm cross zoning when I switch to a zone defense. It's the dumbest shit ever. I can't believe more people aren't pissed about this. Makes defense unplayable.

Usually if I do “show 3” in coverage adjustments, that’s basically base align. idk why no one ever mentions this
