Again, it's not a mystery or hidden stat. It's Gunslinger and it has been that way all year. Every single GS QB i've used this year had the same problem

I agree w/ GS being the issue, but his seems to be the worst of the bunch compared to others I've used (Vick, Richardson, etc). Its especially upsetting as I've been waiting for his upgrade for awhile
I have found pass leading directly right or left makes the issue that much worse. If you pass lead/free form slightly up or down to the direction you want to lead, its not nearly as bad. The quick seam shot throws I haven't found a way to help those. I also tried using Fearless thinking it was an issue where Madden was giving him horrible TUP penalties, but that doesn't seem to be the case, as Fearless appeared to do nothing for it.
I've tried NOT using GS, and that's just a no go for me. I'd take the random overthrows w/ it compared to no overthrows w/o it.

It's so odd that Gunslinger costs more now in AP to be worse. It's like eating out at your favorite restaurant today: Before COVID, everything was great, but now it's like the staff are doing you a huge favor to take your order accurately, and to bring out your food hot and promptly. And after an inferior experience, the bill comes at a substantially increased cost.
So its not just me that has noticed this about real life.

I'm back and forth on it. I've had games where overthrows with GS hurt me really bad. Right now i'm using Baker with GS and the overthrow garbage is happening again.

I just don't understand why they did that. We need GS with all the garbage blitzes but you get punished for using it. Should have just left it alone instead of adding RNG to it
does anyone have this issue with 93 bo nix cause with gunslinger, he overthrows the ball more than any other qb I have used this year?

YES, this is definitely a thing -- honestly, it took me a couple days to relearn the timing to the point where I could begin making more (most) of my throws, but any and all QBs equipped with Gunslinger ability are going to experience these same random overthrow issues. Some of it is simply the game being a ridiculously inconsistent, buggy ass mess and some is user-error. Once you relearn the timing, it definitely gets better.
Despite all of that, Josh Allen has quite possibly THE best (or one of) pure QB Releases in the entire M25 game. Baker Mayfield being also up there at the top, but i'm sticking with Joshy for the dual discounted ability buckets, at least til Thursday (JAN 9th) when 0AP stuff melts. YMMV, but it's a fairly common complaint.

Why would there be legacy stats on completely new players coded into the game that's ridiculous...
I think it directly relates to how often they overthrow the ball. I overthrow the ball way less with people with high TAC .. I've been workshopping it for a while
User error with gunslinger also comes into play because people are throwing before their routes actually break

Montana's 92 did this all the time and his is over 90, so that makes no sense. Davis is 90+ as well and he overthrew plenty, so much so that I moved on from him within a week. Allen probably overthrows way less than either of these guys, and I have had him since I pulled him on 12/25, so pretty large sample size.

There is no user error. Gunslinger has been in the game for years now, this year EA just decided to fuck everyone using it. A wide open receiver shouldn't be overthrown just because EA decides to make the game tougher for GS users.

Where do you quantify this opinion that EA nerf gunslinger intentionally just to make you overthrow throws because that seems ridiculous.
Every quarterback's animation has slightly different timing even though they might have a release that you've used before their character animation is affected by all kinds of other little things about how they made the character build.
Once you get the timing down on a quarterback you can hit any throw you need with relatively good completion percentage.
That's what I mean by user error.
The misthrows I'm talking about are not because of mistiming a route and throwing a bullet When you should have thrown a touch pass. The misthrows I'm talking about are when everything is completely right and the ball goes nowhere near where it's supposed to. Not just a simple timing overthrow. Those are the ones I think are affected by the hidden tac stat
