H2H Ranked Points is So Random

So, Sometimes I get 90 points for a win. Sometimes its 51 or 58. a loss is always 15. A quit is 30(so I don’t quit, it’s like 2 losses in one) so… what is the deal with points? Do you have to kick ass and win by a large margin to receive 90? Or does the point total for a win decrease as you rank up? Thanks all

its based off of how many points your opponents have. the bigger the discrepancy between you and them, the more you get for beating them

Came here to say this I was talking to somebody in ranked play yesterday that thought they had to grind out a game. They were losing to me by almost 40 points because they only wanted to get the minimum RP lost and I had to explain to them that the RP they're going to lose is set in stone based off of my rank versus theirs...

Thanks! So to be clear, If I am in Gold 2 tier and beat a team in Bronze, I will get less points? I think that’s what you mean lol. So I can still quit a game if I am getting destroyed and the points won’t change? Appreciate the advice.
