Placement matches in ranked

My question is is there any advantage at all of playing and winning our placement matches ? Last ranked season I just quit all 5 , assuming it would give me lower ranked opponents ?

I haven't bothered with Ranked, but I would imagine that placing well starts you off in higher tiers, while quitting five just makes the climb so much longer.

Anyone know the highest tier one can potentially start at?

I just quit all 5 and started in Bronze 1 at 1325 RP IIRC

I think it's Bronze III or Silver I. Nothing crazy.

I won all five last grind it's only bronze 3 ..I was def disappointed
