As the competition sits right now, as long as you can go .500, you‘ll hit the 3200 RP threshold, which from my understanding, is all you need to do to get the “top 100“ reward. I’m at about 4k rp and I am not a great player by any means.

Why do the rewards always go for 4 million coins if that is all it takes to obtain the top tier?

Mid zone is 10-20 yards from LOS inside the numbers

Flat zone is Under 10 yards from LOS outside the numbers.

Deep in zone is past 20 and deep out as well but outside the numbers

Because the number of people willing to pay for a reward far exceeds the number willing to work for it.

Hopefully EA does not change anything, it’s a good thing to have something to play for if you don’t want to pay. Gets boring otherwise.

To your point, yes and no. Some people have jobs, schools and families so they can only squeeze in a game or two for relaxation every couple days. 
 

The people that don’t do anything with their life and waste their last bit of money to avoid playing are probably few and far between.

I’m not speaking to why anyone does or doesn’t do whatsoever it is they do. Everyone is different. I was only speaking to the value of the card. It is only that expensive because The number of people who go after it is much much smaller than the group that doesn’t.   Scarcity creates value.

My point in saying this is, it’s not some god card reserved for sweats. Those are the gauntlet cards. The top RP reward really really isn’t that hard or grindy to get. More people should go for it. Or at least stop whining about it.

I probably have more free time than most on here, but I haven’t played a ranked game now in weeks.  It is plausible to me that someone could casually play the game at a .500 clip and get top rewards.
