There have been some really decent $10-15 offers lately, which kind of surprises me. Usually EA is trying to extort us for $100 for a mere chance at a decent (LTD), but lately i'm hearing folks pulling hundreds of thousands of coins from a single rip, if not more...

I bought a Golden Opportunity pack for squad mate a couple weeks back, he pulled Lamar and 87 OVR Platinum Quicksell (440k coins?) -- best fifteen bucks we could have spent, for liek 1.2-1.5 mill coins. That's how EA could combat these sketchy secondary coin resellers -- by offering competitive deals.

I do not believe such a thing as "pay to win" should ever exist in online competitive games, but corporate america are a bunch of savages and value nothing that isn't the almighty dollar. So what's a guy supposed to do -- at the end of the day, we're all paying for it one way or another. Some with attention and eyeballs, others with hard-earned dollars (many using mommy's credit card). This bullshit casino for kids is sheer madness.

Nice . I save all my platinum cards and strategy cards and use those coins towards rookie premiers every year. I usually have like 5-7 mil by the end of the year. i trade in my strat cards and sell expensive ones and then keep the cheap ones for sets in the future. It works like a charm

After I started in March 2023 and didn't come close to earning enough coins to get a complete Rookie Premiere set from MUT 23, I came into MUT 24's Rookie Premiere program and was super mad that I had spent so much time getting coins, only to be limited to three Rookie Premiere players. Truth is we never know how much we'll need, but EA will do a phenomenal job making us report to Madden daily for our daily dopamine dose with some promo that will make me think I need the latest card.

Real Deals looked like the real... deal. The LTD's looked end-game. Only a few weeks later, Fan Appreciation items had some ridiculous number of abilities. And then the Redzone Royale LTD's had like 11 abilities.

There will always be something that will drive you to part with your coins. This is why I cannot spend money on this game. I cannot cross that threshold, for the good of my family.

As an alternative option to buying the plat offers you can use the opportunity to unload some cards. As it’s not uncommon for these offers especially these enhanced ones it seems to drive prices up. I still think there is a better way to accomplish that but I’m not the one making those decisions.

As far as its impact on coin sellers goes it may very well be a part of a concerted effort by EA to eliminate them and ultimately establish a new system to fill the void they create. Money!! Money!!
