Complete the stocking stuffer set. Takes less then 1 mil. Then turn the stockings stuffers x2 and buy 3 87. For the merry mixup set for 90s and selll them for profit. Then you'd have more coin and an extra stocking stuffer.

Don't buy shit. We're about to head into a new season, regular cards will be bumped up to 94 OVR, which should increase pack odds and potentially shift the market. Maybe. Who knows, things have been weird this year, EA is tightly controlling the market -- Christmas behaved the opposite of how things normally go, usually prices tank on Xmas day, then increase (often dramatically)... this year, everything just kept bottoming out. With a few notable exceptions, mostly high end cards.
I'd try to be patient. Maybe farm MUT Draft for a few days? I'd get at least a couple more (hopefully BND) 90 OVR O-linemen, to round out yer blocking... beond that, yer receivers are top notch. Grab Baker Mayfield or Peyton Manning maybe, RG3 perhaps? Any of those options that you can find for under 300k(ish) and then just fill out yer defense with a handful of 90s. Spend as little as possible to field a competitive squad and remain patient as the game is about to change significantly once Jan 9th lands and all these boosts go away.

yeah I sold everyone cause the only semi fun thing rn is the draft. already got porter but still get a lot of snow and I'm just gonna wait for it to convert

I pulled Darren McFadden out of a present. Not selling him for less than 1.5 million. He's so grossly undervalued right now.
This is not intended to be a competitive team, but to get me through solos until the Zero Skill program ends. I'll add to it as key upgrades become affordable.

You saw the conversion rates, correct? I believe it'll eventually be 25:1 (coins per snow) exchange value. Meaning, if you can get 300k+ coins for a 93 OVR, you should probably be converting snow and selling the cards NOW/ASAP. Just my two cents.
I've had the opposite experience, i'm absolutely LOVING the changing and getting all of these abilities on the field. Game hasn't felt so playable this entire year. First time we've actually had a fighting chance on defense. Difficult to overstate how impactful the new cards/content have been, literally game-changing.

I just wish that with defense playing smarter, guys with stacked rosters wouldn't also glitch out the AI so that my offensive linemen play dumber. When I don't get even a full second to read the defense on a five-man rush with Max Protect, and when my quarterback gets tackled trying to handoff out of I-formation, competitive is dead to me.

ive already bought all the offers so my choices are 87 plus or 83 plus or just wait for conversion. I personally don't love the abilitys all over the place but I'm sure the next promo will just take the place of ZC and be the same 0 ap abilities

Yeah, all that nonsense is beyond frustrating, when defenders manage to get into the backfield, essentially avoiding any and all blockers to make a play on the QB before the hand-off can be successfully performed. Game is and remains a buggy ass, inconsistent mess. Especially zone coverages and all the glitchy ass nano blitzes.
This is kind of why i insist on everyone running Gunslinger. If you cannot get the ball out, nothing else matters and the game stops being fun. I'd encourage everyone to drop into practice mode for ~15-20 minutes per day, until we're all comfortable making those snap throws, such as quick passes to the Seam (TE/Slot), or a HB in the Flat, Drag, whatever works for YOU. I've given up on even trying to block these all-out blitzes, i'm basically just throwing hot, into the pressure and hoping the opponent can't get out there quick enough with their USER to make a play or actually defend it. I cannot even begin to count the number of one-play touchdowns i've had on a ~2 yard dump off to my HB in the Flat, who then proceeds to take off and race away from the opponent as they miss a pathetic diving tackle attempt to save the TD. Cover 0 stuff is just asking to get cooked for huge plays.
It's practically a requirement to have a full O-line of 90 OVR Zero Chill type players, with Pass Protector (or Secure Protector) ability... x5.

I mean, i tend to agree with you -- i don't want ANY abilities in the game, unfortunately they're necessary to make our guys perform at a basic level, especially on defense. Even with the improved reaction times from various Zone KOs, we're still barely able to consistently cover. Man is even worse, less consistent -- just asking to give up huge plays.

If I have to throw on a one-step drop because my center has a seizure after the snap on almost every down, there is literally no reason to subject myself to this.

You couldn't be more correct here. The game is an absolute buggy ass, inconsistent mess and simply stepping away from the madness is without a doubt the correct decision. I have tried, numerous times, in fact to retire from this madness. It has not been worth the time, nor cost, nor frustration... but at the end of the day, EA understands that they have us (at least for now, til May 2026) by the balls. Textbook case study of how and why monopoly power is bad. EA has given up even trying to pretend, they're not going to lift a damn finger to improve or change anything that does not directly impact their overall pack sales. Nothing else matters, sad to say.
I think i played a grand total of two (2) online H2H games from August through October, was basically just biding my time, patiently grinding offline Solo Battles or whatever limited content existed for non-head to head type players, while stacking coins whenever possible and just hoping, praying the game would get to a state where i felt it was somewhat playable. That couple/few month break helped to refocus and adjust my entire approach to the game. Getting into Squads play also helped tremendously, having more players on the team enables us to compensate for the buggy ass gameplay. Although, there's still tons of what you described, especially on run plays.
Our Offensive Captain was using Run Protector and Linchpin and such, but discovered exactly what you are griping about -- no amount of O-line abilities seem to improve the run game. Inside Stuff and No Outsiders are nowhere near as reliable as in prior years, but even without, it's still stupid frustrating to not be able to run a simple Stretch play, because our O-line are constantly getting beat, either from disengage style (4-3 Even 6-1) blitzes, or the other array of glitchy nano or whatever blitzes.
All that being said, using the following setup has given me the best pocket presence i've had all year -- i'm not sure any of the run abilities actually wr0k this year. Insta-sheds are a massive problem, across the board. Run game has been absolutely decimated.
