the fact that there are a half dozen top tier bucs RBs and a 95 boomer, 95 burrow, and 94 palmer released after the two 95s is idiocy...
there is no way this is optimal for anyone
It has always seemed to me that a simple database query would enable EA’s content team to deliver items on a schedule that would ensure a measure of balance between different theme teams. Have some teams that are weak based on current rosters? Boost those with Legends between August and October. Playoff teams are becoming evident? There’s All Madden for some of the non-contenders.
You don’t need brilliant people. You can literally get one 486-era computer and Microsoft Access to do the bulk of the heavy lifting.
After that little step, it would be nice to see greater disparities between slower and faster players, weaker and stronger players, and naïve and experienced players, which would ensure that strategy and scheme would play a greater role in every game. Right now, speed kills, and so many other parameters matter very little, as in all other respects too many players are too similar.

im a bucs theme team and even i think it's absurd....we got tucker, irving, white, dunn

trust me, I agree. I had tucker forever and then finally built the 92 dunn set. then white bucky and white came out and im like cool but ill be passing on these. meanwhile we have pretty much zero WRs. ill never complain about alstott though. my all time favorite buc and okoye has been terrible for me
