Why are KO/drops so random this year for contested catches

I dont know what causes this

Ill always go for possession catch in traffic, never aggressive or RAC

Yet my WRs/TEs have so many random drops...even if the DB barely touches them

On the other side, my opposing players seem to catch everything in traffic...even some agg jumping catches where the WR is hit while in the air

Is there a setting I am missing?

Also I am running gift wraapped, but I thinks thats only for open catches..not contested ones?
