Small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, but how or why is the front page filled with posts from 2021? Is this some visual glitch on my end, or everyone notice something similar? Once i flip over to Page 2, i definitely see the current stuff. I guess maybe this should go to a separate category in these forums, my bad.
Some kid has been making a burner all day to troll. Years ago the kid would’ve been ip banned but they don’t do that anymor.

As what was stated earlier, some idiot went in and responded to old posts. It looked like he had an axe to grind with Legend or something. They just deleted his comments, but that's why these old posts are on the front page.
My bad I was just wanting to get some of my hot topics back to the front of the boards....

Thank you for explaining this to me, obviously i missed a few things. It's probably trivial for someone to spin up a free VPN or get around IP bans in the modern era... but what the heck do i know. Strange way to "grief" someone, by reviving a bunch of old posts. Ahh well. Appreciate your insight.

Makes total sense, obviously i wasn't able to see the deleted comments / posts, so i (incorrectly) assumed it might be some type of software issue. Doh. Hopefully that annoying kid finally got tired and went to bed or something. Frustrating that we waste time going to battle with one another (or mods and admins) rather than focusing our ire on the source of the problem, that being Electronic Arts Orlando / Tiburon.
These companies deserve the Ubisoft treatment. I've lost count of the number of people lately who still have yet to get content they've paid for, or otherwise earned. Full press release here, in case anyone cares what is happening in California to try and protect us gamers.

Not only that, but the forums like the game itself are a barren wasteland compared to what they used to be. Especially for how early in the year we are. I suspect the forums becoming so dead is directly related to how AWFUL the game is, less people playing= less people on the forums.
A couple years ago these forums would be buzzing this time of year. Now, you regularly see posts tale hours or days, if ever get any replies. Or if they do, they get like, one response. It didnt used to be lile that.

Honestly… if you’re invested in the community. you’re joining discords or looking at twitter/x for information. Forums aren’t what they use to be due to the speed of information.
The only useable thread here that i’ve seen was the zone one recently, but that info is already a week old if not longer.

I'm such an absolute Boomer about this -- i have a Discord account and have connected with a few people from these forums, but i'm terrible about actually running the Discord app. PS5 now allows us to link our accounts, but it appears to be basically for voice chat and not much else, or perhaps i simply do not understand.
I vastly prefer these forums, where stuff is broken down into categories and people can discuss the same/similar topics in well organized threads, where Discord ends up being a massive run-on list of random comments, i cannot ever seem to find anything relevant or useful -- but i see whatever the most recent ~25 messages or so, that were posted. Not to mention Discord app tends to decimate the battery on my aging Pixel 7 Pro, but i finally disabled notifications hoping that'd preserve things a bit.
Anyhoo, long-winded way to say i'm old and out of touch.
